The Mallard Mama

Hi! I’m Kyla, a mom and wife from a small town in the middle of Kentucky. I have a toddler, Rhett and a new baby on the way (due anytime now!) My husband of 5 years, Ben, is the ultimate reason I decided to start The Mallard Mama. He does all the things outdoors hunting, fishing, being on the water, working on the farm. When we decided to start our family it was important to us to teach our kids about respecting the land and harvest we were given and to teach them all about the outdoor life. I started this blog to have a place to share my thoughts, ideas and opinions of all things to do with motherhood, trying to simplify life, live more frugal, enjoy the little things and to strive to live how God intended us to on this earth.
