My toddler just had a birthday (I can’t believe he’s 3!) When some of our family was asking what to get him, I put together a list of great options to get my very active 3 year old.
I will share some awesome ideas of books, outdoor toys, STEM toys, crafts, and experience gift ideas for an active, outdoor loving 3 year old boy! All are budget friendly and most you can find on amazon!

Books
These are some of my toddler’s FAVORITE books and are perfect for gifts. The first 2 I mention are series, so you can keep gifting them for special occasions!

This book series is adorable and follows a truck and his best friend on adventures during different seasons and places. If you have a toddler, they NEED these books!

If you’re buying for a truck loving little boy, these are the perfect books for you! Also in a series, these construction books are so adorable. They are even educational with a counting book and helping to learn names of all the construction trucks. Check them out here:
I Spy Books
3 is a great age to introduce the I Spy books. And the great thing is, there are I Spy books for anything and everything your toddler might be into. Mine is into all things trucks, tractors and construction vehicles. Here is a great I Spy book for the truck loving boy!
Outdoor Toys
Toys for outdoor play are a favorite at my house! My son would spend all day outside if he didn’t have to nap or eat. Doesn’t even matter the temperature. So here are some ideas for some great gifts to use outside.
